Here are the highlights from a headshot photo session I did with the lovely and talented model and actress: Tessie Tracy! These were all taken during a 90 minute shoot at the studio. We did several different setups and shot both inside and right outside the studio (she’s standing next to the front door).
A great headshot is the most important photo for any actor or actress. It’s pretty much their business card, the first thing an agent or director sees and the photo that gets left behind for them to remember by.
A professional headshot not only puts your best appearance forward, it also shows your seriousness and commitment to your work.
Even though Tessie has a beautiful face and a great complexion, we still had Rebekah Trigg, a great makeup artist, work with us so to make sure everything was perfect. Rebekah is great! She can pretty much read my mind and know what I’m thinking, even before I’ve thought it. I know, it’s weird, but it’s true.
In addition to Tessie’s headshots, we had enough time left in her session to change things up a little and shoot something extra she might be able to use in her portfolio or for other promotional materials. I love these last couple of photos as much as the headshots. Sometimes those first or last few minutes of a session can pay off with some fun surprises!
Although not a must, a good makeup artist can be a real benefit for headshots. That’s something we can discuss when we set up your headshot session. (They can also be a great addition to senior picture sessions for girls!)
