Headshot Wardrobe Color Choices

First rule for selecting wardrobe colors for your headshots is to pick colors you think look good on you. From there, here’s some basics on the meaning of colors. Your headshot is a product advertisement for you so even subtle things like wardrobe colors are a part of your marketing package!

Are black and white colors? Depends on who you ask. For purposes of headshots, I consider black, white and grey as shades (or tones) instead of colors. There’s nothing wrong with them but if that makes up your entire headshot wardrobe, it’s going to look a little monotone. If you’re going to be using your headshot on LinkedIn or any other website showing lots of peoples headshots on a page, a little bit of color can help draw people’s eyes to you. So consider adding a splash of color to your wardrobe for your headshot.

great job!

David is extremely dedicated to getting the best shot. He took his time and listened to what we wanted in a team photo and individual head shot. The photo’s turned out great and he got them to us in record time as we were on a time constraint.
